About the Blog

The Editors’ Weekly / L’Hebdomadaire des réviseurs is the official blog of Editors Canada.

Editors Canada logoEditors Canada promotes professional editing for print and online communications. Our 1,300 members include salaried and freelance editors who work in the corporate, technical, government, not-for-profit, education and publishing sectors.

Authors contributing to this blog include many recognized professional Canadian editors as well as some new voices. We also invite guest writers who are not Editors Canada members (or even Canadian) to contribute thought-provoking ideas to stimulate or continue discussions about editing, language, meaning and context in today’s world. Look for new posts every week.

Views and opinions expressed in The Editors’ Weekly are solely those of the author writing the article and are not the views of Editors Canada or its managing editor. Contributions to this blog will be mostly in English and occasionally in French.
