A Short Summer Hiatus

Sailboat passing by a landscape of rolling hills and mountains with a hot air balloon overhead.

Happy summer! In this time of sun, vacations and out-of-office notifications, The Editors’ Weekly is taking some time off to transition to our new editorial board. Aalap, Sayali and I are excited to start this new chapter for the blog. The short hiatus will allow us time for onboarding and restructuring as we prepare to share the editorial work among the three of us. We will be back with fresh eyes and content on August 7.

Writers and ideas wanted

If your work is slowing down for the summer too, or if you’re as busy as ever and you thrive on adding variety to your workload, consider writing for us! We are always looking for blog contributors,  and I want to hear from new and returning contributors from the breadth and depth of our profession. If you have never written for the blog before, are part of a unique community or haven’t seen your niche represented yet, let’s chat! Help us showcase the diversity of Editors Canada.

Whether you have a concept ready or not, send us an email at blog@editors.ca or send a message via the website. We want to hear from you, and we can connect ideas with writers, support drafting and accommodate your process from blank page to blog post.
