Rees is passionate about editing. She specializes in academic editing and working with multilingual clients. Because her emphasis is English language usage, she works within many academic fields, including STEM, the humanities, the social sciences, medicine and allied health. She also works on creative nonfiction and fiction projects. She was born and lived in the U.S. for most of her life. From 2016 to 2018, she served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Mexico, and she now lives part of the year in Guanajuato City, GTO, Mexico, and the other part in Procter, BC, Canada. She loves yoga, tai chi, hiking, reading and travelling. Since editing is work that can be done anywhere, she feels very lucky to do what she loves wherever she happens to be!
